Description
The Treatment of Trauma & The Internal Family Systems Model
Richard Swartz, Ph.D.
September 5-6, 2024 (Thur-Fri)
Join us online for a rare two-day trainin as we delve into the world of the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model with none other than its creator, Richard Schwartz, Ph.D. Developed over four decades, IFS offers a profound understanding of healing and transformation in a non-pathologizing approach.
Even before the pandemic, the demand for mental health professionals with specialized training in trauma far exceeded the number available clinicians. Today, individuals are living with equal or more uncertainty, heightened stress, prolonged grief and trauma. The Internal Family Systems (IFS) model is an intervention designed to assist clients grappling with severe trauma-related behaviors and who might be unresponsive to conventional therapeutic approaches. This two-day training is tailored to empower clinicians working with diverse client populations experiencing traumatic responses, equipping them with an extensive toolkit of concepts and techniques to better serve this critical demographic.
Don’t miss this rare opportunity to learn directly from Dr. Richard Schwartz and elevate your practice to new heights. Whether you’re a mental health clinician, psychologist, counselor, social worker, or marriage and family therapist, this program promises invaluable insights and personal growth.
